Children are always welcome in worship. We believe children are an important part of God’s family and that the Holy Spirit is at work in their hearts, too. Wiggles, whispers, and little voices are not distractions—they are signs of a growing church.
Families are encouraged to worship together, and you’re always welcome to keep your children with you during the service. If you need a quieter space, our Comfort Room is located at the back of the sanctuary, where you can feed, rock, play with, or care for your child while still participating in worship.
For children ages 3 and under, our Nursery is available during both the worship service and Bible Class hour. Our caring Nursery staff are background checked and trained in child safety, CPR, and First Aid. Safety is our highest priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and loving environment for your little ones.
We also believe faith formation begins at an early age. Even our youngest children are introduced to the love of Jesus through age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, and activities.
Parents will check children in and out of the Nursery, and if you are needed during service, Nursery staff will contact you by text. While staff do not change diapers, a changing table is available in both the Nursery and the main restroom. The worship service can also be viewed on the Nursery television.
A private nursing room is available in the Grace Lutheran Early Education (GLEE) wing, Room E-4.
Ages & Programs
Nursery (Birth-3 Years)
Our Nursery provides a safe, loving environment where children begin learning about Jesus through age-appropriate stories, songs, and activities.
Sunday School (3 Years-Grade 4)
After the service, during our Bible Class hour, children explore God’s Word through Bible stories, activities, discussion, and prayer in age-appropriate classes led by caring volunteers.
Children’s Message
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, all children are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary during worship for a special Children’s Message. During this time, one of our pastors or ministry leaders shares a brief, age-appropriate message that connects to the day’s Scripture readings, sermon, or worship theme.
These moments help children engage with God’s Word in a way they can understand while remaining active participants in the worship service. We love seeing our young disciples gather together to learn, ask questions, and grow in faith as part of the church family.
Safety & Security
Your child’s safety is one of our highest priorities. Grace Kids is a zero-tolerance ministry, and we believe it is important to provide a safe and secure environment where children can learn about Jesus and explore their faith.
Our Nursery workers and children’s ministry volunteers are:
• Background checked annually
• Trained annually in child safety procedures
• CPR and First Aid trained (Nursery staff)
• Committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment
Parents check children in and out of the Nursery, and families can be contacted by text if needed during worship or Bible study.

Throughout the year, Grace Kids participates in special events that help children grow in faith, build friendships, and create lasting memories.

Grace Lutheran Early Education
Grace Lutheran Early Education (GLEE) is our Christ-centered preschool ministry, serving children through a nurturing environment focused on faith, learning, and growth. Through age-appropriate academics, play, and Bible-based teaching, GLEE helps children build a strong foundation for both school and life.
